15 High-End European Cars Even Americans Would Want To Drive

We may love our loud and brawny muscle cars. But these cars are popular in Europe. They are great cars that many American drivers would like to buy.

People sometimes want to have something that they do not have. This is true for cars, and there are many different types of cars. These could be very expensive or not so much money. Sometimes, it’s a tiny car. People might ask what these two cars have in common. They are both small and use diesel fuel. The answer is simple. They are most likely from Europe, and Americans can’t have them no matter how much money they have.

America was built to be a country for people who drive, by people who drive. This is why it may come as a surprise that most European cars are not available in the US. Some of them are because of government regulations, but others are because there are many different car cultures in American and Europe. And while most people are happy with their F-150 trucks and big-block Chevy cars, some would love to get their hands on a Peugeot. This article is for both Americans and Europeans. It talks about cars that are great for people who love America or Europe.

Audi A1

The A1 is a car that Audi makes. It’s not the most popular car in America, but even people who are die-hard fans don’t know all about it. I imagine a Ford Fiesta, but with more technology, luxury, and power. The Audi A1 is very small, but it is still a good car. It feels like an Audi.

Our favorite is the 2012 S1 Quattro with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four good for 252 horsepower and a 6-speed manual. That cat is really fast. It can go from slow to fast in 5.7 seconds. It is faster than a Volkswagen Golf GTI from the same year, so you might want to rethink who your idols are if they drive a car like that!

Peugeot 508 II

Admit it, when you read Peugeot, you probably thought of something small, cheap, and not very exciting. The new 508 sedan is not like other cars. It has an elegant and aggressive exterior. And the inside looks like a spaceship. And before you ask – yes, it also comes as a wagon. We only wish that we could get the 508 in the US.

Citroën C6

The C6 is an executive car in the 2000s. It was forgotten, but it doesn’t deserve to be forgotten. The styling is very elegant and unique with the sloping lines in the front and the curvy back. The inside of the car, on the other hand, feels very good. And that is how the C6 feels when you are driving it. thanks to Citroën’s signature hydraulic suspension. Overall, the C6 is a more stylish and distinctive alternative to the boring old German sedans.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Station Wagon

European car manufacturers have not been kind to the US market when it comes to wagons. If you want a station wagon with a three-pointed star on it, then you should buy Mercedes. the E-Class is your only option. We, however, would love to see the smaller C-Class wagon on sale in the US. It is a shame that European- people can buy it, but not us in America.

Peugeot RCZ

You were expecting to see another French car on this list, right? Spoiler: it is not the last one, but the Peugeot RCZ is different from any other Peugeot. It also shows that France still knows how to make beautiful cars. The highlights of this gorgeous coupe are the unique curved rear window and the high-performance R version with 270 hp. It might not have been as bad for the Audi TT as Peugeot had wanted. But it certainly got people’s attention.

Volkswagen Scirocco R

If you think that VW and “high end” don’t belong in the same sentence, consider the Scirocco R. Even though it was based on the Golf, the exterior design was a lot more stylish and sporty. The top R version of the Golf has more power and looks different than a regular Golf. It is really good and it can go fast.

Alpine A110

Alpine is a company that makes car stereos and sound systems. They are well-known in the US. In France, the name of the car company is the same as “Ferrari.” Renault, which has owned the company since 1973, resurrected it in 2017 with the Alpine A110, a mid-engined sports car to rival the Porsche Cayman.

It might not be as good as the Cayman, but it is an enjoyable car! As James May said, The car has 248 horsepower and it is light. It is one of the best things to come out of France in a while.

BMW M3 CSL

There are many M3s in the States – but not this type. There is a car called the CSL. It is like the M3, but it was only made for a little while and it did not come to America. As you can guess from the name, the CSL was lighter than the regular M3, by 243 lbs to be exact. It was also more powerful and had special wheels and a body kit. This car is the most desirable of the E46 M3s. It cannot be bought by Americans because it’s too expensive.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (Manual)

Both the regular Giulia sedan and its high-performance Quadrifoglio version can be bought in the US. That is if you’d be happy with its 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. And while it’s definitely a solid performer, nothing beats the pleasure of manually switching gears in your 505 hp Italian sports sedan. Sadly, this is only available for European buyers. The 6-speed manual transmission is not an option for the Giulia CVs sold in the US.

Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake

There’s nothing more European than putting a powerful engine into an executive car. This recipe was picked up by Jaguar engineers to create the XFR-S, the 550-hp version of their XF sedan. It was a thrilling car that, unfortunately, didn’t sell so well. What sold even worse, though, was the XFR-S Sportbrake, the station wagon version of the same car. The wagon was never sold in America because nobody wanted to buy one. But we would like to buy it!

Škoda Superb L&K

Many people in the US don’t know about Škoda, but that’s a shame. The company was founded in 1895 in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. It was later taken over by Volkswagen in 2000. Their top model is the Superb Laurin & Klement – named after the founders of the company. The second-gen model came out in 2015. It is praised for being practical, reliable, and affordable. We only wish that this car was sold in the US. That way it could add some difference to the family sedan scene. There are a lot of Camrys and Accords right now, so it would be good if there were something different too.

Alfa Romeo Giulietta

In the US, Alfa might come back – but not with all its models. The Giulietta hatchback is one of the cars that was not included. It is not the perfect car, but it is beautiful. It has lots of engine choices. There are both petrol and diesel engines available with 105 to 240 horsepower. Alfa has been around for 10 years and that is why Alfa decided not to bring the car to America.

DS9

Once a luxury line of Citroën, DS is now a separate brand. It is based on Peugeot 508. The DS9 offers you the best in French automotive luxury with both its exterior and interior design and its technology. The DS9 is a car with night vision, semi-autonomous driving, and a powertrain. It is targeted at the Asian market. It will not be sold in the US.

Audi SQ2

The Audi Q2 is not sold in America. Even though it’s really popular in Europe, people don’t want to buy it because they think that the car is too small and not luxurious enough for an Audi. The SQ2 is not small, but it has a lot of power. It has 300 hp and can go from 0 to 60 in 4,8 seconds. However, you can’t get an SQ2 in the U.S. No matter how much you respect them.

Noble M600

Noble is a supercar company that isn’t like other companies. They don’t have to follow the law or be logical. Their latest creation, the M600, has a Volvo/Yamaha V8 that puts 650 hp to the wheels through a six-speed manual. No electronic assists or safety features. Just speed. M600 cannot be bought in America because the car doesn’t have safety features. It will not be for sale in America for another 20 years.
