Just a week ago, the tuners from Novitec Rosso presented the Race 606 based on the Ferrari California, and today the specialists of the German studio are announcing a modified version of the Ferrari 458 Italia supercar, which will be brought to an exhibition in Geneva.
The car retained its 4.5-liter V8 engine, but there were still some changes. Specialists from Novitec Rosso have equipped Italy with a new high-performance exhaust system made from Inconel nickel-chrome alloy.
The new exhaust system is 21 kg lighter than the standard exhaust system, in addition, it is complemented by sports exhaust manifolds, sports catalysts and a muffler with a valve that allows you to adjust the exhaust sound using a special button added to the steering wheel.
It was also not without intervention in the operation of the electronic engine control unit, and in aggregate, all of the above improvements made it possible to increase the output of the Ferrari 458 Italia engine by an additional 39 hp. – up to 609 hp and the maximum torque increased from 540 to 569 Nm, developed at 5,400 rpm.
Despite the fact that the 458 Italy boasts elaborate aerodynamics, German tuners drove the car into a wind tunnel, as a result of which a small aerodynamic package was created for the supercar, including additional wings on the front bumper, a rear spoiler, and numerous ventilation slots. located in the front fenders, along the edges of the engine compartment, as well as in place of the rear side windows.
In addition, the car has received a carbon fiber diffuser, side skirts and mirror housings. Also, the bonnet and roof can be made of carbon fiber. The reduced weight, coupled with technical improvements and an aerodynamic package, increased the supercar’s top speed from 325 to 330 km / h.
The final touches of the Ferrari 458 Italia tuning by Novitec Rosso are exclusive three-piece Novitec Rosso NF3 rims, “shod” in specially developed Pirelli PZero tires measuring 255 / 30ZR21 at the front and 335 / 25ZR22 at the rear.
It is also worth noting that sports springs reduced the Ferrari 458’s ground clearance to 35 mm, but the installed hydraulic system is able to drive the front of the car an additional 40 mm to be able to painlessly overcome small obstacles.
