On June 29, 2021, Russia started accepting orders for the Geely Atlas Pro crossover, which has been sold on the home (Chinese) market since the summer of two thousand nineteen.
In fact, Geely Atlas Pro is a seriously modified version of the regular Atlas. He has a completely new “face” with an enlarged grille and a more prominent hood. At the stern, a different bumper and original taillights with a three-dimensional pattern are installed.

The interior of the car is characterized by the presence of a new front panel and center console. Plus, such a car can boast of larger screens and the presence of a non-fixed automatic transmission selector.
In technical terms, the Geely Atlas Pro in the new body is the so-called “mild hybrid”. By the way, in our market, the crossover will be the first mass model from the Middle Kingdom with such technology.
The car is driven by a 1.5-liter “turbo-engine” with a capacity of 177 hp. (255 Nm), developed in conjunction with Volvo. The car is also equipped with a 48-volt starter-generator and a compact lithium-ion battery.
The electric motor put on the crossover produces an additional 50 Nm of torque. It acts as a start-stop system and also helps the internal combustion engine in the first seconds of acceleration.
As for the drivetrain, the new Geely Atlas Pro features a seven-speed robot with two wet clutches. The crossover drive is already complete in the base with a clutch on the rear axle. According to the data sheet, such a “filling” provides the car with acceleration from 0-100 km / h in 9.9 seconds.
So far, only two rich configurations are available for order. The Flagship version is priced at 2,119,990 rubles and has 18-inch wheels, ESP, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, virtual tidy, dual-zone climate control, all-round cameras, engine start button, “leather” interior, contoured interior lighting and multimedia system with a 12.3-inch screen.
Also in the list of equipment for this version are heated all seats and steering wheel, LED headlights and lights, an automatic braking system, an electric boot, an electric driver’s seat, an electric handbrake and six airbags.
The Flagship + version costs 2,184,990 rubles and is additionally equipped with a panoramic roof with a sunroof. Russian dealers will have the first “live” cars on August 2, 2021.
Note that an ordinary Atlas in Russia costs from 1.4 to 1.9 million rubles. So far, the Chinese are not going to remove it from sales, but over time, the Pro version will receive cheaper versions and completely replace the “pre-styling” crossover.
