The Squadra Corsa division of Lamborghini has presented its new project – the unique SC20 speedster. It is reported that such a car was developed on the special order of a client whose name was not disclosed.
The Lamborghini SC20 has an exclusive Bianco Fu body paint in white and a range of Blue Cepheus components, which have never been used on the Italian brand’s production vehicles before. Front and rear of the open two-door are 20- and 21-inch forged aluminum wheels with central locking.
Lamborghini Centro Stile chief designer Mitja Borket notes that while working on the exclusive supercar, he and his team drew inspiration from the Aventador J, as well as the Diablo BT and Veneno roadsters.
Curiously, the front splitter of the car is made in the style of the track Huracan GT3 EVO, and the plastic of the sidewalls here reminds of the Essenza SCV12. Additionally, a carbon wing with three angle of attack settings appeared at the rear of the vehicle. These components are designed to provide high downforce and optimum aerodynamics.
The interior of the speedster is predominantly black, but it has catchy white and blue accents. Among the other features of the cabin, it is worth noting the unique carbon fiber seats with a combination of leather and Alcantara trim.
The interior of the Lamborghini SC20 also features carbon fiber inlays that adorn the doors, dashboard, steering wheel and center console. Interestingly, the ventilation deflectors here are made using 3D printing technology.
The technical stuffing of the supercar came from the Aventador SVJ. Consequently, the all-wheel drive speedster is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. When paired with a seven-band ISR robot, it develops 770 hp. at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm available at 6,750 rpm.
Built in a single copy, the car is approved for public roads, but its dynamic characteristics were not disclosed. Note that the original Aventador SVJ is capable of “shooting” from zero to hundreds in 2.8 seconds, reaching speeds up to 351 km / h.
The unique speedster is known to have carbon-ceramic brakes, with six-piston calipers with 400mm rotors installed in front, and four-piston calipers with 380mm rotors at the rear. How much the client paid for such a car is unknown.
