Mercedes-AMG C63 S by Charon

The Polish workshop auto-Dynamics.pl presented the sedan “Charon”, built on the basis of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S. It is reported that the modification got its name in honor of the ancient Greek god Charon – the carrier of dead souls.

Outside, the tuned four-door can be easily distinguished from the donor by the transparent matte film from “Magnus Pro”, which is covered with the original blue metallic of the body. This solution allowed us to create an unusual play of light.

Additionally, the tuners abandoned the chrome exterior decor, while installing accessories from the “AD Black Star” package to the car. Note that the latter includes blackened nameplates and inscriptions, while the index “C 63 S” at the stern draws attention to itself with the yellow background of the letter “S”.

The modification received door handle covers and special AD850 + logos. Plus, the car has got a lowered suspension with springs from Eibach and 20-inch BBS CI-R wheels, which here are “shod” in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with dimensions 255/30 and 275/30 front and rear, respectively.

The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Charon is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, whose output has been increased to an impressive 855 hp. and 972 Nm. Thus, the modified sedan turned out to be 345 forces and 272 Nm more powerful than the factory version. According to the Poles, they deliberately limited the engine torque at the bottom with an eye on the rear-wheel drive, but at the same time “emphasized” it at the top.

The workshop specialists managed to achieve such a significant increase in power due to the AD850 + package. The latter includes new turbochargers from TheTurboEngineers with Weistec waste and control valves, as well as a modified exhaust system with switchable valves, which has received a number of components from DEI, Supersprint and Remus Innovation.

In addition, the atelier installed an Eventuri carbon inlet, a cooling-optimized gearbox oil pan from Weistec, and Wagner Tuning heat exchangers. In the process of creating the modification, the tuners changed the working fluids and installed sports brake hoses with steel braids from Fischer Hydraulik / Stahlflex.

Unfortunately, the acceleration time of the Charon modification from zero to hundred is not specified, but this version of the C63 S is definitely faster than the stock model, which copes with this task in 4.0 seconds. As for the maximum speed, it is here declared at 330 km / h (+ 40). The cost of the car is not advertised.
