Externally from the original Gelendvagen, the new Mercedes-Benz G500 4 × 4² is distinguished by a front bumper from the G63 AMG, LED stripes on the shield above the windshield, widened wheel arches, a seriously increased ground clearance (clearance increased from 210 to 450 mm) and 325 / 55R22.

The Mercedes G500 4 × 4² is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, borrowed from the Mercedes-AMG GT coupe. On an SUV, it produces 422 hp. and is paired with a 7-band automatic transmission 7G-tronic with transfer case and lowering.

European sales of new items started in December 2015 at a price of 226,100 euros, and the car reached Russia in the first half of 2016. We are asking for such a car today from 19,240,000 rubles, which is more than two times more expensive than the usual G 500, but slightly cheaper than the G 65 AMG version. At the end of October 2017, the acceptance of orders for the SUV will be discontinued due to the completion of the production of this model.
