Owner reviews Peugeot Traveller 2020-2021
The car is a week old, and it is being repaired by the dealer! The check caught fire at a temperature of -26 degrees. The automatic door on the right is stuck and does not open. The drive hums, but something is in the way. The passenger door on the right does not close properly! By the way, the tailgate too. The car went into emergency mode and did not raise the revs more than 2,000.
My conclusion: the car is not for frost and is very damp (Kaluga assembly). In terms of functionality, it is 10 points, and in terms of execution I will only put it 3. I will try to tame it and refine it. Or return it back to the dealer, two weeks have not yet passed …
Review of Peugeot Traveller 2.0D (150 HP) with automatic 2021
On changes of lanes through the snow porridge, the car is very stable. Without moving, it overtakes the snow-covered left lane at speeds up to 130 km / h, confidently like a tank. Riding on the ground also confirmed all the previous thoughts and considerations. Where the road is wavy, you make sure that you took the “short” version of the bus with a minimum rear overhang correctly.
The suspension is really very comfortable and armor-piercing at the same time. the bottom is completely covered with protection, you can ride along a forest road, bumps and high waves with peace of mind.
Artem, review of Peugeot Traveler 2.0D (150 HP) 4WD manual transmission 2020
Well, that “passed” a year of ownership of a French minibus. During this year we drove 51,000 km with him, no serious problems were found. The only upsetting thing is the plastic in the cabin. It is of really low quality: it scratches quite easily, which is largely facilitated by children. There are certain questions about the suspension: speed bumps with an empty car pass harshly.
The owner drives a Peugeot Traveler Active Long 2.0D (150 HP) AT 2018
One moment immediately got out – with the middle row seats turned on the contrary, there is little room for legs. Those sitting in the third row and those sitting facing backwards will interfere with each other. If you move the front seat as far forward as possible and set the backs as vertically as possible, the situation improves, but then only a child can sit in front.
Seat upholstery of the “leather” type: leatherette and possibly leather inserts (or simply from leatherette of a higher density). I especially did not like the upholstery of the third row: it looks the same, but in the summer there was a child’s chair in the middle of the sofa, and although there was a special rug behind it and under it, there was still a dent on the back. The leatherette will stretch and after dismantling the chair, the shape has not been restored.
Ivan, review of the Peugeot Traveller 2.0D diesel automatic 2019
Traveler’s handling is acceptable, brakes well. The bus travels great on normal roads. It is comfortable to steer along serpentines, the car behaves predictably. The engine deliberately took the base 1.6 diesel, so I will not swear at low power, but the sixth gear on the track is not enough. However, the car is quite enough for a quiet ride.
Consumption on European diesel fuel when driving at speeds up to 100 km / h is 5.5 liters, and at 140 km / h – already 6.5-7.0 liters. The tank is large, the consumption is small, you have to refuel no more than once in a thousand km.
Maxim, review of the Peugeot Traveller 1.6D (95 hp) on the mechanics of 2020
The new 2021 Peugeot Traveller body is based on the EMP2 front-wheel drive platform, which is characterized by a fully independent suspension with classic MacPherson struts at the front and a spring-link structure at the rear. Already in the base, ventilated disc brakes are installed on both axles of the car.
A 4WD version is also provided for the model, which is equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission of the French company Dangel. It takes power from the engine and transfers it to the rear axle through a long, multi-piece propeller shaft and viscous coupling. The Peugeot Traveler minivan has the following overall dimensions, mm
- Length – 4 956 (5 308 on stretched versions)
- Width – 1 920
- Height – 1 940
- Wheelbase – 3 275
- Ground clearance (clearance) – 175 (200 on the version with all-wheel drive)
By default, the volume of the van’s trunk is declared at 798 liters (1384 liters – on the extended version), but by folding the rear seats it can be increased up to 3 958 liters (4554). The fuel tank of the machine is designed for 69 liters. The curb weight of the car varies from 1,746 to 2,209 kg and is directly dependent on the specific specification.
In the Russian market, the French Peugeot Traveler 2021 minivan in a new body is offered exclusively with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel with 150 hp. (370 Nm). In this case, buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and a similar automatic, as well as front and all-wheel drive.
- Front-wheel drive cars with manual transmission are capable of accelerating from zero to hundreds in 12.3 seconds, reaching speeds of up to 184 km / h. Cars with automatic transmission are somewhat slower: their indicators are 12.4 seconds and 183 km / h, respectively.
- All-wheel drive minivans are offered exclusively with mechanics, while acceleration from 0-100 km / h is given to them in 13.3 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 184 km / h.
- Separately, it is worth noting the luxurious version of the Traveler Business VIP with front-wheel drive and automatic, which accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 12.7 seconds, and its speed limit is 183 kilometers per hour.
The driver’s seat in the minivan has an excellent profile and developed lateral support. Taking into account a wide range of adjustments, a person of almost any build can comfortably fit in it.
The ergonomics of the cabin is quite normal: all the main buttons are located exactly where they should be, and there are enough niches for small things. A fly in the ointment is perhaps the cup holders, which are here for some reason placed on the sides of the dashboard. Using them is frankly inconvenient, and large circles do not fit into them.
The interior of the model is spacious, and there is enough space for both passengers of the second and third rows. Moreover, the wide possibilities of transformation are pleasing: the seats here are installed on the rails, which allows you to quickly and easily change the interior layout depending on the task at hand.
The engine / transmission link on the Peugeot Traveller works almost flawlessly, and this is typical for both manual and automatic transmission cars. The settings of the van’s suspension are again pleasing, although an unpleasant buildup can be observed on a gentle wave.
In general, the tall “Frenchman” remains stable and confidently goes through turns even at speed, and even all-wheel drive versions are not subject to roll, the clearance of which is increased by 25 millimeters.
It is unlikely that anyone will specifically buy such a beautiful minivan for off-road driving, however, modifications with all-wheel drive can boast quite good cross-country ability. They are not afraid of country roads, although they are still far from full-fledged SUVs.
