I will share my impressions of the Lada Granta Cross 1.6. Bought it after my Astra stopped working properly. It took me 30 seconds in the car to decide on a purchase.
The key advantages of the model are good suspension and sound insulation. When driving on country roads, the car maintains balance and qualitatively “works out” holes. If the car is moving at a speed of 110 km / h on an asphalt surface, the noise characteristic of previous generations is practically absent.

However, this is where the positive characteristics of Grants Cross end. The “Comfort” and “Lux” configurations come without carpets and winter tires, so I had to buy winter wheels through the Lada salon.
I must say right away that it will be problematic for people of medium and small stature to reach the steering wheel. In addition, its adjustment is carried out in the up and down direction. In general, regardless of the location of the steering wheel, you have to either “cover your ears with your knees” or feel discomfort, not reaching the steering wheel.
The herringbone remote control keyfob is only one. The second is for “learning”. The pedals are positioned high, as if on a bus. When I got into my Daewoo Lanos, it seemed that the pedals had failed.
There is a lot of noise when changing gears, especially from 2 to 3. Even after 1000 km of run, the unpleasant sound did not disappear. When accelerating to 100 km / h, the tachometer shows 3000 rpm, i.e. developing high speed is problematic. As for the steering wheel, it is completely uninformative and “empty”, and this causes a number of inconveniences when you need to steer.
The multimedia system is very limited. An outdated SD port is used to listen to music from external media. The sound quality is very frustrating and more reminiscent of the old “Mayak” or “Ocean”. After 400 km of driving, the rear window heating system failed. Of the little things that arose during the operation of the Grants, I will highlight the following:
1. The back door was hard to close since the purchase.
2. There is no cover on the power plant, and it is also impossible to buy it through showrooms and dealerships.
3. As discs, only options with an offset of 35 and a standard bolt pattern of 98 are available.
4. Bulb H19 costs $ 9.5.
5. The fuel tank has no protection – there is no key to the plug.
