In March of the twentieth, he took a new Vesta SW Cross 2019 release. I was seduced by big discounts in the salon for a year and on a robotic gearbox. The car was from the last batch with a 1.8 engine and a “robot”. The original price of 700,000 rubles rose to 740,000 rubles. The tinting, protection of the crankcase and the mesh in front of the radiator played a role.
This Vesta is my 17th car. Before that, there was the 41st Moskvich, VAZ 2104, Japanese right-hand drive cars. Of the latter, I drove Opel Zafira, Ford Explorer, Largus Cross, Outlander and Patriot. That is, I can quite compare.

What I liked about the new Vesta is its pleasant design, the car is well-controlled, nothing broke or rusted in it for a year. I ride it every day to and from work, several times a year to the dacha 500 km away.
I put a grid in the stove so that the leaves would not fly into the fan and rustle. The car started up in any frost the first time. Refuel with 95th gasoline. With dynamic driving, the consumption is 10 liters.
At TO-0 I filled the engine with Rosneft 5w40 oil. For 7,000 km, the consumption was 2 liters. I have already filled up TO-1 with Shell 5w40, for the next 8,000 km there was no oil consumption (that is, 0).
The car has very good brakes. The “Comfort” configuration contains all the bells and whistles, only there is no electric heated windshield. But, of course, there were also some drawbacks.
- A weak 1.8 liter 122 hp engine, but now they are installing a Nissan one, which is even weaker.
- I have a big family and a dog, so I would like a bigger trunk.
- The work of the robot as a whole is fine, it has adjusted to my driving style. But at long traffic lights, you have to put it in neutral, otherwise the clutch will quickly fail.
- When fresh snow falls, the robot does not have time to shift the gear up, because of this, wheel slippage is observed and you need to move off more slowly.
- The nozzles do not wash part of the windshield in front of the driver – this is a known drawback of this car. I had to shaman the left nozzle, cut off the bottom edge, but I will put the nozzles from Volvo.
- Factory wipers collapsed after three months, I will put Denso.
- On a Ford, I almost did not feel the noise in my cabin, but here the noise just rolls over. I will do soundproofing.
Well, in general, I want to say that for 740,000 rubles I got a very good car. Let’s see what happens at the end of the warranty.
